I’ve found a Cuisinart Stand Mixer that I like but I also see a lot of people using the Kitchen Aide. Does anyone know the difference of these products -does one last longer than the other, perform better than the other, etc…. The cost ranges are about the same for each product and reviews (good and bad) on the sites are about the same for each. So…. I’ll ask you all here what your experience has been.
Thank you!
its my birthday today and my aunt sent me a stand mixer and they are coming this weekend so i want to make them something special
im a beginer and the only cake that ive made was a
"one, two, three, four cake"
so i dont want an extremely hard cake with weird ingrediants
so if you’d be so kind as to list the ingredients and directions id be very pleased
Last night I whipped up some heavy cream, sugar and vanilla extract into a fresh whipped cream to top a cheesecake. This morning when I went to take it out, it looked more like pudding than whipped cream. It had gone flat, so is there anyway I can put it back into the stand mixer and re-whip it. I used quite a bit of heavy cream which wasn’t cheap and it tasted so good I’ll be rather disappointed if it’s useless.
I’m having big trouble trying to decide which food processor to buy – should I get the kfp 750 or kfp 760. I’ve read extensively on both models and I’m totally confused now. (I’m assuming they’re both good for mixing and kneading dough) Some reviewers say that the 760’s ultra-wide tube is quite useless for long items, some say it’s great! I know that the 750 comes with the "full size" tube – but is it big enough to fit whole vegetables, like potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, etc.? The 760 comes with an egg whip and a citrus press – these are really attractive features since I was looking to buy a stand mixer a while back, but with this I’m thinking I can postpone that to next year and make do with the egg whip till then. But then again, I think these accessories can be bought any later time, if need be, and that the ultra-wide tube may not be worth paying the extra $$. Help!!
