Opinion on Kitchenaid Stand Mixer?
Macy’s has a KSM75W 275 watt for 9.99 / plus rebate for 9.99.
I searched for this model # and only found it on Macy’s website, presume it is special to them
1) is this a good price for such?
2) is 275W enough "oomph" for a general duty stand mixer? Would want to knead dough, etc.

Kitchenaid stand mixers are all good. This one is for general home use and is strong enough to knead small batches of bread dough. Stiff dough will sometimes push a tilt-head mixer around so I personally like the stationary head mixer with a bigger 6 QT bowl. But the price for the model you are considering is great.
yes that is a good deal, I have a similar (older model) and it works great. My mother has a similar one that is on year 15….
That’s a good price. We have had our KitchenAid for 3 years and it is used at least once a day. We use it to knead bread with and it works great for that, and everything else!
